How Are Magnetic Stickers Made?
Each magnetic sticker is produced in several stages to provide clear printing, a neat finish and convenient use on suitable metal surfaces.
Full Colour Printing
Your design is printed on white PVC sticker material for bright, clear and attractive colours.
Glossy or Matte Lamination
The printed surface is protected with glossy or matte lamination to help reduce light scratches and water splashes.
Magnetic Sheet Mounting
The laminated white PVC sticker is carefully mounted onto a magnetic sheet.
Final Cutting
The magnetic sticker is straight-cut for standard shapes or machine-cut for custom shapes.
The back of the product is made from magnetic sheet. It can be attached, removed and repositioned without applying adhesive to the vehicle surface.

Custom-shaped magnetic stickers require a cutting outline or cutline. An artwork preparation charge may apply if the cutline has not been prepared.

The lamination helps protect the printed surface against light scratches, water splashes and normal handling. It does not make the product completely scratch-proof.

At least one side must be 23 inches or below. A size of 23″ × 40″ is accepted, while 24″ × 30″ is not accepted.

How to Use Magnetic Stickers on Vehicles
Follow these guidelines for better attachment, safer use and longer-lasting magnetic stickers.
Before Installation
- Test the area using a normal magnet first
- Use only on magnetic-compatible steel or iron surfaces
- Remove dust, grease, wax and dirt
- Make sure the vehicle surface is completely dry
- Clean and dry the back of the magnetic sheet
- Avoid attaching it over damaged or peeling paint
During Use
- Attach the entire magnetic sheet flat against the surface
- Do not leave corners or edges lifted
- Remove it before using an automatic car wash
- Remove and clean it regularly
- Do not fold, roll tightly or crease the magnetic sheet
- Store it flat in a clean and dry place
Magnetic stickers may not attach to plastic, aluminium, fibreglass, glass, carbon fibre or other non-magnetic surfaces. Some vehicle body panels may also contain non-magnetic materials.

Prepare your artwork correctly for clearer printing and more accurate cutting.
Print File Preparation
- Recommended formats: PDF, AI, PNG or JPEG
- Prepare artwork at the actual required size
- Use high-resolution images
- Convert important fonts to outline where possible
- Check spelling, telephone numbers and contact details
- Avoid placing important text too close to the edge
Custom Shape Cutline
- Custom shapes require a cutting outline or cutline
- The cutline should follow the required outer shape
- A small border may be required around the design
- Complex outlines may need to be simplified
- Very small details may not be suitable for cutting
- Cutline preparation charges may apply
