Cutting and Weeding
The artwork is precision-cut by machine. Unwanted vinyl around and inside the letters is then carefully removed.
Custom text, numbers, logos and simple shapes precision-cut directly from solid-colour vinyl. Only the lettering remains after installation, without a printed rectangular background.
Die-cut lettering is not printed with ink. Your artwork is cut directly from a ready-made solid-colour vinyl sheet before the excess material is removed and transfer tape is applied.

Transfer tape holds every letter in the correct position so the complete design can be installed neatly and evenly.

After the transfer tape is removed, only the individual letters and shapes remain on the surface.
Enter the overall width and height occupied by the complete lettering layout. A minimum chargeable area of 4 sq ft applies for each colour and design.
Measure the complete width and height of the lettering.
The category depends on letter size, line thickness and artwork complexity.
Letter size alone does not determine whether an artwork can be cut successfully. Font style, line thickness, spacing and small internal details must also be considered.

Die-cut lettering uses vinyl that is already manufactured in a solid colour. The colour does not come from an ink printing process.

Select the cutting direction based on which side of the glass or surface the lettering will be installed.
The sticker is installed on the front or outside of the surface and viewed from the same side.
The artwork is mirrored and installed from inside the glass so it can be read correctly from outside.
Both products are useful, but they are manufactured differently and are suitable for different artwork styles.
Pricing is calculated from the overall cutting layout, cutting detail and artwork preparation required.

Die-cut vinyl requires a clean cutting path. Vector artwork allows the cutting machine to follow the exact outline of each letter, number and shape.
Complex logo redraw or new logo design will be quoted separately after the artwork is reviewed.

Calculator pricing is for one colour. Multi-colour designs require separate cutting layers.
Standard production is approximately 2–3 working days after payment and artwork approval.
Installation is not included unless stated separately in the official quotation.
Simple bold letters should generally be at least 10 mm high. Smaller or detailed artwork requires inspection.
Apply onto clean, dry and smooth surfaces. Rough or dusty surfaces may reduce adhesion.
